Since our inception in 1995, Virginia Parent News now Northern Virginia Parent-has won awards
from both the Virginia School Boards Association and Parenting
Publications of America for editorial excellence in feature writing
and commentary. We have been, and will continue to be, dedicated to
serving the needs of parents in Northern Virginia.
Our experienced staffers live and work in the community they
serve, and are dedicated to making Northern Virginia Parent, the most useful
parenting publication in the Northern Virginia area.
We distribute 30,000 free copies each month
to over 200 public elementary schools as well as many private schools in
Northern Virginia, to public libraries, doctors offices and places
where families shop for children.
